About the supposed Christian complex of the amphitheatre of Cordoba

Analizamos la propuesta de identificación de un centro de culto cristiano sobre las ruinas del anfiteatro de Córdoba. El estudio lo abordamos tomando como criterio la presencia o ausencia de los indicadores que mejor permiten definir los testimonios arqueológicos del culto martirial tardoantiguo: "tumulatio ad sanctos", arquitectura indudablemente cristiana, ajuar litúrgico y, por último, epigrafía o fuentes literarias indicativas de tal cuestión. La ausencia de evidencias mínimamente satisfactorias en ninguna de las variables sometidas a estudio, permite concluir que no existen argumentos para sostener un hipotético centro de culto cristiano en el anfiteatro cordobés.We analyse the proposal of an identification on a Christian complex over the rests of the anphitheater in Cordoba. We carry out this study from the basis of the presence or absence of the signs that better allow to define the archaeological testimonies of Late Antique martyrial cult: tumulatio ad sanctos, undoubtly Christian architecture, Christian architectural sculpture and finally, the epigraphy or literary sources indicating this fact. The abscence of the minimum satisfactory evidencies in any of these analysed variables, allows us to conclude that there are no arguments to support a hypothetic Christian complex in the amphitheater of Cordoba

An Integration of FDI and DX Techniques for Determining the Minimal Diagnosis in an Automatic Way

Two communities work in parallel in model-based diagnosis: FDI and DX. In this work an integration of the FDI and the DX communities is proposed. Only relevant information for the identification of the minimal diagnosis is used. In the first step, the system is divided into clusters of components, and each cluster is separated into nodes. The minimal and necessary set of contexts is then obtained for each cluster. These two steps automatically reduce the computational complexity since only the essential contexts are generated. In the last step, a signature matrix and a set of rules are used in order to obtain the minimal diagnosis. Esquemas decorativos pictóricos de la villa romana de El Ruedo (Almedinilla, Córdoba)

El trabajo que aquí presentamos se enmarca dentro de un proyecto de investigación en curso que, con el título de: La decoración arquitectónica de la villa romana de El Ruedo (Almedinilla, Córdoba): pintura mural, mosaicos y decoración marmórea, constituirá nuestra memoria de licenciatura. Es nuestra intención, a modo de avance, realizar ahora una aproximación a dicho conjunto, estudiando con tal fin los esquemas decorativos pictóricos. Para esto, hemos empleado tan solo los múltiples lienzos de pintura mural conservados in situ en el yacimiento.
